Service Award: Sheryl Gibson, 15 Years

Sheryl Gibson, OCC Financial Management Human Resources grants accountant, was recognized at the July 2009 Commission meeting for 15 years of service to OCC and the state of Oklahoma. She worked for the Health Department prior to joining OCC six years ago. She handles accounting for the federal funds for the Water Quality and Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation divisions, which total a higher dollar amount that the entire allocation OCC receives from state funds. Gibson recently returned from maternity leave after giving birth to a daughter, Kassidy Gayle, on April 13.
