At the February meeting of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, Kelly Mockabee, executive secretary in OCC's Financial Management and Human Resources division, received a certificate acknowledging her 25 years of service to the Conservation Commission and the state of Oklahoma.
Kelly is the first contact for most people calling the Conservation Commission in that she is the person most often answering the agency's main telephone line and managing the reception desk. But Kelly's contribution to the FMHR division, as well as, all employees of the commission and conservation districts goes far beyond those duties.
Kelly is responsible for managing all Requests for Acquisition generated by OCC employees. During FY-2006, that represented over $6 million dollars tied to Request for Acquisitions generated for services, supplies, and equipment.
Kelly also is responsible to see that each of the 88 conservation districts submit complete and accurate minutes to the Commission on a monthly basis.
Another vital role Kelly provides is purchasing. Kelly obtained her Certified Procurement Officer certification and assists with the purchasing for all divisions and conservation districts.
"Kelly has always demonstrated herself to be a team player and I consider her a valuable member of FMHR," said Steve Coffman, FMHR director.
