Stacey Day, OCC Water Quality environmental projects manager, was named as Employee of the Quarter at the OCC full staff meeting in December 2008. She was recognized again at the February meeting of the Conservation Commission.
Stacey has been with OCC since July 2005. She is a senior member of the OCC/WQ technical writing team, responsible for producing project reports, data analyses, quality assurance documents and various written programmatic elements. She compiles and conveys the results of the division's Rotating Basin Monitoring Program and contributes to the state's biannual Integrated Report.
The nomination form for Stacey stated "Stacey is titan of efficiency and work product generation for the Water Quality division's technical writing team." She often requests additional assignments and brings to bear a significant skill set. The form stated "The intensity of devotion, care and management of her family affairs spills over into her work," and cites her assistance with the agency's fledgling Carbon Program.
