District Services

The District Services division’s primary objective is to serve as a liaison to conservation district boards and employees in an effort to enhance the capabilities of districts to deliver a variety of services and programs.

District Services provides:

A centralized contact point for the state’s conservation districts requesting assistance from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission staff.
Staff to attend district board meetings and work in district offices to assist in interfacing with other agency representatives on issues, and capacity-building opportunities for districts.
Training and professional development for both conservation district employees and directors.
Assistance to districts on legal affairs, natural resource planning and reporting, district board functions, human relations, conflict resolution, and finance and personnel management.

Conservation Districts: Click here to download a template for a district annual report in MS Word format. Most likely it will ask you if you want to open this file from the site or save it to disc. Select “save.” Choose where you wish to save it, i.e., "My Documents," etc. Rename the file to something you will remember, i.e., "gccd05annual report." Exit your internet browser and go to MS Word. Click on : “File, Open” and open your new file. You can now modify the report by placing your information in the boxes. Alternatively, you may right click here and select "save target as," then follow the remaining steps above.
