Academy Coordinators Message

The mission of the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Academy is to meet the training mandates prescribed by Oklahoma State Statutes by providing quality up-to-date basic and specialized training in a cost effective manner enabling law enforcement officers and agencies in the State to enhance their professionalism.

The goal of each staff member, of the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Academy is to support and enhance the training services provided by the Academy by creating and maintaining an environment for learning and living that is respected, and professional.

By the consistent adherence to a shared set of values, which provide a foundation for a highly coordinated work effort, the Basic Law Enforcement Academy constantly strives to maintain maximum productivity and excellence in every area of its operations through the on-going training and support of its staff, which is recognized as its most valuable resource.

As Coordinator of Oklahoma’s Law Enforcement Academy, I recognize that qualified and highly trained professionals are essential to providing effective and efficient service to the people of the great state of Oklahoma. I recognize that effective law enforcement is the cornerstone of a free and safe society. Therefore we are committed to the principles of professionalism, integrity and leadership as means of obtaining the highest standards for public safety.
