Service DescriptionThe Office of State Finance (OSF) originally issued the State of Oklahoma Information Security Policy, Procedures and Guidelines in September 2003. This document has been updated several times, and the current version is 1.4, issued in December 2008. Customer BenefitsThis document provides a detailed starting point for developing agency-specific security policies and procedures. Customer MarketThis service is available for all Oklahoma state agencies, offices, officers, bureaus, boards, commissions, counsels, units, divisions, bodies, authorities, or institutions of the executive, legislative, or judicial branches of state government. The term "state agencies" does include institutions within the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education or the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Customer Responsibilities"Individual agency standards may be more specific than state-wide requirements but shall in no case be less than the minimum mandatory standards. Where standards required of an individual agency of the state by agencies of the federal government are more strict than the state minimum standards, such federal requirements shall be applicable." (62 O.S. §41.5a) How Do We Charge?There is no charge to download and use the State of Oklahoma Information Security Policy, Procedures and Guidelines. Charges for training associated with this service area are tailored to abilities and needs of each state entity requesting tailored support.
