Time and Labor

Service Description

Time and Labor is an integrated system providing structure for State agencies giving the ability to interface time from time collection applications, associate earnings with projects, maintain and track multiple compensatory time plan transactions and balances at the employee level, edit data associated with Time Reporting Codes (TRC) against TRC Programs and balances in compensatory time plans, sets security limiting end user access, and process payable time. Time and Labor gives the flexibility to create rules for processing time allowing additional editing of data based on number of hours in a day, work schedule employee is attached to, roll excess hours worked into overtime payouts or compensatory time earned hours, etc. Time and Labor is part of the ERP Solutions database integrating with other modules including, but not limited to, Payroll (PY), Human Resources (HR), Financials (FS), Business Intelligence (BI), and Projects. Through Time and Labor, state users have access to online real-time information allowing upper management to reconcile charges and billings against Contracts and Federal Grants.

Customer Benefits

  • Gives ability to define multiple types of compensatory time plans and specific attributes regarding maximum limit amounts and number of days before expiration of compensatory time
  • Allows for adjusting time previously entered, creating adjusting transactions
  • Allows setup for management approvals (Requires Time and Labor Manager Self Service) before data is released for processing
  • Gives ability to setup multiple number of work schedules to associate with employees
  • Allows for the editing of all data entered into time sheet by processing it through rules
  • Provides a mechanism to interface approved and edited data into Payroll and Projects

Customer Market

This service is available for all Oklahoma state agencies, offices, officers, bureaus, boards, commissions, counsels, units, divisions, bodies, authorities, or institutions of the executive, legislative, or judicial branches of state government. It is also available to counties, municipalities, townships, Tribal governments, and other political subdivisions.    

Customer Responsibilities

  • Keep transactional information up-to-date and meet the processing deadlines
  • Work with CORE team to review, and if necessary configure and test various rules to edit the data
  • Engage in module testing
  • Document agency business processes related to administration of employee data in Time and Labor

How Do We Charge?

There are no additional charges associated with this module. If additional Time and Labor rules are needed, agencies may be asked to share in the development costs.

Service Hours
24 x 7, excluding planned outages, maintenance windows and unavoidable events

Maintenance Window
Maintenance windows are used only when needed for planned changes that have gone through the ITS Change Management Process. In addition to the Standard ITS Maintenance Windows, site-specific and service-specific changes may be coordinated with customers at non-standard times.

The current planned maintenance window is from 4 a.m.-noon Sunday.
