Enterprise Learning Management

Service Description

Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) is an integrated system providing State agencies with a learning environment allowing designated staff to define training curriculum, set prerequisites for training courses, monitor license expiration and renewal dates (future), control class enrollments, calculate training costs, and automating enrollment notifications. ELM integrates with Human Resources (HR) and has Self Service functions. Managers have access to online real-time information, allowing upper management to make informed decisions regarding all aspects of training requirements and objectives.

Customer Benefits

  • Gives visibility and insight to training requirements
  • You track the effectiveness of the training (pass/fail, etc.)
  • Can notify employees, by e-mail, of course enrollments (additional setup required)
  • Can assist in managing employee objectives
  • Can track certification and/or licensing programs
  • Provides a way to manage wait lists and learning requests
  • Historical information can be converted if data requirements are met

Customer Market

This service is available for all Oklahoma state agencies, offices, officers, bureaus, boards, commissions, counsels, units, divisions, bodies, authorities, or institutions of the executive, legislative, or judicial branches of state government. It is also available to counties, municipalities, townships, Tribal governments, and other political subdivisions.    

Customer Responsibilities

  • Keep transactional information up-to-date
  • Work with CORE team to configure foundation tables meeting agency and state requirements
  • Work with CORE team to design course requirement
  • Attend required training to access the system and your agency users as needed
  • Engage in module testing including unit, integration and user acceptance testing
  • Document agency business processes related to administering the system
  • For some functionality agencies must provide e-mail addresses and reports to information

How Do We Charge?

There is no additional charge for the actual use of this PeopleSoft module. Agencies requesting new functionality may be asked to share in the development cost.

Service Hours
24 x 7, excluding planned outages, maintenance windows and unavoidable events

Maintenance Window
Maintenance windows are used only when needed for planned changes that have gone through the ITS Change Management Process. In addition to the Standard ITS Maintenance Windows, site-specific and service-specific changes may be coordinated with customers at non-standard times.

The current planned maintenance window is from 4 a.m.-noon Sunday.
