Oklahoma Secondhand Smoke Laws

HEALTH ALERT
from the Oklahoma State Department of Health


ALERT TO PATIENTS WITH KNOWN HEART DISEASE, PATIENTS WITH ELEVATED RISK FOR HEART DISEASE, AND FAMILIES OF THESE PATIENTS:

"All patients at increased risk for heart disease or withknown heart disease should be advised to avoid places where smoking is allowed indoors. In addition, the families of those at elevated risk should be counseled not to smoke within the patient's home or in a vehicle with the patient." - State Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Crutcher
