Legislative Updates

Periodic Legislative Updates and Legislative Alerts regarding pending legislation and the Department’s position on various bills and amendments will be issued by the Commissioner.  The objective for issuing the Updates and Alerts is to keep you informed on legislation that could affect Oklahoma’s community financial institutions and the Department.  Timely Updates and Alerts will be distributed via email and RSS feed, as well as posted to the Banking Department website. 

Our Legislative Updates and Legislative Alerts will focus mainly on state legislation and thus will be published during the Oklahoma legislative session, January through May. However, the Commissioner will issue an Update or Alert any time he feels there is pertinent information to share.
