Ralph is an owner of Solomon Abstract Company in Kingfisher. He has been in the abstracting business for 12 years, and is an active member of the Oklahoma Land Title Association. Ralph is also a senior attorney in the firm of Harrison & Mecklenburg, Inc., and has practiced law in Kingfisher for over 35 years. His practice focuses on real estate and land title issues. Ralph is a past president of the Kingfisher County Development Foundation, Kingfisher County Bar Association, and Kingfisher Rotary Club. Ralph and his wife, Denise, attend the First United Methodist Church in Kingfisher. They have two children, Jared, who practices law with Ralph and who is also a licensed abstractor, and Kristin Montarella, who is a Professor of Pharmacy with Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Ralph also has four grandchildren, Dakota, Myles, Finley, and Makenna.

David Riley is the owner/manager of Cochran Abstract Company in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He has been in the abstract industry for 29 years, first as an employee and assistant manager of Cochran Abstract Company from 1979 to 1990, and then as owner/manager from 1990 through the present. He is a member and Deacon at First Baptist Church of Pocasset, Oklahoma, and also serves as the sound technician there. He is also presently serving as President of the Board of Directors of Southwest Youth and Family Services, Inc. in Chickasha.

Glenda Mittasch is the Owner/President of Powers Abstract Company, Inc., in Perry, OK. Glenda and her husband, Dennis, purchased the company in November, 1986. She worked for Southern Abstract in Bartlesville while attending college and, after she married, worked for the Noble County Clerk and Powers Abstract Company. She is a Past President of OLTA and has served on several committees including Education, Legislative, Public Relations, Research and Okie TiPac and was selected as OLTA’s Title Person of the Year for 2009. She is married to Dennis Mittasch and has two children, Stacy McKay and husband Bryan, and Clay Mittasch and wife, Niki, and has one grandchild, Denver McKay. She is a member and elder in the Morrison Christian Church of Morrison, OK, past president of the Perry Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving as Chair of the Leadership Noble County.

Charles Nichols is the owner of The Abstract and Guaranty Company in Chandler, OK, a third generation title business with ties dating back to 1900. He was born and raised in Chandler and began working at the family owned business at the early age of 16. He is a past president of the Oklahoma Land Title Association and has served on the education committee for over 20 years, as well as many other committees. Charles has also been active in the American Land Title Association, serving on the membership committee and TiPac Board of Directors. Charles has been married to his wife Beth for 25 years, has two children and has been active in his community by serving as President of the Lions Club, as well as being involved with the Chamber of Commerce and local community theater.

J. Herschel Beard is the owner of Marshall County Abstract Company, LLC, in Madill, a business started by his grandfather in 1920. He is a third-generation abstractor. Herschel is Past President of Oklahoma Land Title Association, selected as their Title Person of the Year in 2001, and served many years as a member of the Education Committee. Currently, he is serving as the Finance Chair on the American Land Title Association’s Board of Governors, a member of the Abstractor/Agent Section, ALTA’s Education Committee and as the Oklahoma trustee for TIPAC. Herschel is active in the United Methodist Church, Rotary Club, Madill Committee Day Care Center, and chair of the city planning and zoning commission. He is married to Sue Jennings Beard and they have two grown sons, Wade, and J.T., both of whom are fourth-generation licensed abstractors.

Gary Baer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Business in 1959 and his L.L.B degree from the O.U. College of Law in 1962. He was the co-founder of Baer & Timberlake, P.C., a general practice law firm in Oklahoma City, specializing in real estate and primarily representing institutional lenders and mortgage servicing companies in both commercial and residential fields. During his practice he has rendered written title opinions covering nearly 30,000 abstracts of title on lands within the State of Oklahoma and currently serves as Secretary of the Board.

Earl "Corky" Heard, III

Earl D. “Corky” Heard is the Owner of Heard-Knight Auction & Real Estate in Clinton, Oklahoma. Corky is the principal broker and auctioneer for the firm. He has been in the Real Estate business for over 25 years and an Auctioneer for approximately 10 years, conducting real estate and personal property auctions. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1987 and then established his home in Clinton. Corky is Past President of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Clinton Kiwanis Club and the United Fund. Corky is a long time member and current chairman of the Clinton planning and zoning commission. He is a member of the First Christian Church, where he has served as a Sunday School teacher, Youth Sponsor and elder. Corky has been married for 23 years to his wife Missy. They have two daughters; Jessica who is a sophomore at SWOSU and a member of the Lady Bulldogs Golf Team, and Harley who is a freshman at Clinton High School.

He received his BS in accounting from SWOSU. He has been married to JoAnn for 30 years and have two children, John, age 25 and Sarah, age 21.
