OK.gov Services

 

A portal is a single entry point from which a variety of information, products and services are easily accessible. The OK.gov portal was designed to be intuitive and easy to use, regardless of a visitor's knowledge of state government structure. In addition, the portal is constantly being revised to better reflect new information and services provided by different state entities, as well as suggestions from portal visitors.

OK.gov's custom-designed eGovernment applications, coupled with a payment engine, allows individuals and businesses to interact with their government in a way that makes sense for their needs - fewer lines, inconveniences or mail-related delays. OK.gov works with individual state departments and agencies to identify potential services that can be implemented through the portal. Examples include:

Online Stores And Auctions

  • Gift shop items for sale through the Historical Society
  • Seminar registrations and items for sale for oil and gas professionals through the Marginal Well Commission
  • State surplus property auction through the Department of Central Services

Specialized Services

  • eGrants system for non-profit organizations offering arts programs through the Arts Council
  • Campaign Reporting System (CRS) for statewide candidate and non-candidate committees
  • Water well searches and drought monitor reports through the Water Resources Board

Public Safety Services

  • First responder training calendars offered through the Department of Emergency Management and Office of Homeland Security
  • State and national threat level alert notifications
  • Severe weather notification and tornado alerts
  • First responder regional response bulletin board

Licensing Services

  • Medical Licensing: doctors, nurses, dieticians, audiologists, and speech pathologists
  • Business Licensing: accountants, engineers, land surveyors
  • Law Enforcement Licensing: breathalyzer permits

Research Tools

  • Legislative bill tracking status search - track the status of legislative bills once they reach the Governor's Office
  • Research requests provided by the Historical Society
  • Campaign finance reports available for review through the Ethics Commission's Public Disclosure System
