Policies of Francis Tuttle Technology Center, Rockwell Campus SMOKING POLICY: The use of all tobacco products, which includes cigareetes, cigars, pipes, snuff, chewing tobacco or any other form of tobacco, is prohibited inside campus buildings. On Monday-Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. no smoking is allowed outside the IT building. During these hours, please use the designated smoking area at the west end of the Campus Center building. For classes held outside of these hours, adults may use the patio outside of the Student Lounge. BREAK AREA: The Student Lounge and the patio area are available for breaks. Please be aware that noise in the halls may be disruptive to other classes in session. We ask that you please use the Student Lounge or outdoor areas for cell phone calls and other conversations. BEVERAGES AND FOOD: Bottled water with a cap is allowed in the computer classrooms. We ask that no other beverages or food be brought into the computer labs. Students are asked to confine eating and drinking to the Student Lounge. Alcoholic beverages and illegal drug substances are in violation of Board policy and therefore prohibited on campus. CELL PHONES AND PAGERS: Please set cellular phones and pagers to vibrate or silent before entering the classroom. To avoid disrupting the class, if you need to take or place a call, please step outside the classroom and use student lounge. TELEPHONES: Please use the courtesy phone in the Student Lounge for local calls. Dial 9 for an outside line. We ask that you limit your calls to 3 minutes as a courtesy to other students who may need to use the telephone.
