The Licensing Department is tasked with the processing of all new, renewal, and change applications for all entities required to obtain a license in accordance with Oklahoma State Statutes; ensuring that the licenses are issued in a timely fashion; and establishing and maintaining the paper and computerized master files. For convenience the department has been divided into two (2) sections: a section which handles the licensing of businesses and organizations supervised by Ms. Carla Jones and a section which handles the licensing of individuals who work in licensed businesses and organizations supervised by Ms. Dores Hammons.

Under the supervision of Kathy Sharp, the coordinator for the Legal Department and Licensing division, the Licensing division is tasked with the processing of all new, renewal, and change applications for all entities required to obtain licenses in accordance with Oklahoma State Statutes; ensuring that the licenses are issued in a timely fashion; and establishing and maintaining the paper and automated master files. The Licensing Division, which handles the licensing of business, organizations, and individuals who do business or work in businesses or organization required to obtain licenses, is supervised by Ms. Carla Jones.

License applications may be submitted by mailing the application to: 4545 N. Lincoln Blvd., Suite 270, Oklahoma City, OK 73105 by certified mail ,by bringing the application to the administrative offices (Office hours 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday),  or by applying online. License fees may be paid by cash, cashier check, money order, personal check or credit card.
