Welcome to the TRS Retirement Benefit Estimate Calculator!

The TRS Benefit Calculator can be used to estimate your monthly retirement benefit for selected dates based on service and salary information you enter. The calculator is ONLY an estimate of your benefit. Actual benefits will be calculated and verified by TRS staff when you retire.

When using this calculator you will need to provide certain information (hint: you might want to refer to your most recent annual TRS retirement statement). It is important to note that this estimate is only as accurate as the information provided.

TRS benefit calculator has been modified to include provisions of HB1179 (Known as EESIP/Wear-Away). However, members employed by an institution within the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education that is a comprehensive university or a regional institution offering a four-year degree program as designated or authorized by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education are not eligible for EESIP. The projection of benefits will be based on your answers to questions about where you are employed.

I acknowledge and agree that: 

1.  This calculator merely provides an ESTIMATE of 
    retirement benefits; 

2.  Teachers' Retirement System has no liability or 
    obligation, either legal or equitable, to pay 
    any amount as a result of using this calculator;
    and 

3.  This ESTIMATE calculation, including my assumptions 
    concerning inflation rates, future salary, and years
    of service credit, is not to be construed in any way
    as a promise or contract with TRS to pay the amount
    calculated, or any other amount. 

All final retirement benefits shall be determined by a TRS 
retirement counselor in accordance with the laws in effect
at the time of retirement. Therefore, before making any 
final decisions concerning my benefits, I should contact 
the TRS staff.
