Average Salary

Beginning July 1, 2000, the maximum benefit payable by TRS on behalf of a retired member toward your monthly premium for health insurance shall be determined in accordance with the following schedule:

Average salary for determining retirement allowanceLess than 15 yrs creditable serviceLess than 25 but greater than 14.99 yrs of creditable serviceGreater than 24.99 yrs creditable service
Less than $20K$103$104$105
Less than $30K but greater than $19,999.99$102$103$104
Less than $40K but greater than $29,999.99$101$102$103
$40K or greater$100$101$102
