Service Description
Project Costing is a fully integrated project costing and management solution that provides State agencies with the ability to budget, collect, analyze and report on all project related expenditures and revenues. Project Costing also facilitates federal grant administration through cost collection, revenue tracking, reporting and federal billing. Project Costing integrates with other State supported modules including Purchasing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Commitment Control, HCM Time and Labor, Human Resources, Payroll, Contracts, Billing and Asset Management. Through project costing, state users have access to timely and easy-to-use project information, allowing them to make informed decisions regarding performance, planning and utilization.

Customer Market
This service is available for all Oklahoma state agencies, offices, officers, bureaus, boards, commissions, counsels, units, divisions, bodies, authorities, or institutions of the executive, legislative, or judicial branches of state government. It is also available to counties, municipalities, townships, Tribal governments, and other political subdivisions.
Customer Responsibilities
- Document types of agency projects, required tasks to complete, personnel involved and reporting requirements
- Work with CORE team to configure project costing to meet agency requirements
- Engage in module testing including unit, integration and user acceptance testing
- Research and document agency business process related to project administration and support
- Keep transactional information up-to-date
- Attend required training to access the system and train your agency users as needed
How Do We Charge?
There is no additional charge for the actual use of the Project Costing module. Agencies with the desire to implement the use of this module will most likely find that they will want consulting assistance to assist them with adapting their current processes to the statewide use of the system. If consulting assistance is necessary, the Office of State Finance (OSF) will assist in finding the best available resource. OSF will also contract with the consultant and bill the agency through an interagency agreement for the consulting services.

Service Hours: 24 x 7, excluding planned outages, maintenance windows and unavoidable events
Maintenance Window: Maintenance windows are used only when needed for planned changes that have gone through the ITS Change Management Process. In addition to the Standard ITS Maintenance Windows, site-specific and service-specific changes may be coordinated with customers at non-standard times.
The current planned maintenance window is from 4 a.m.-noon Sunday.
