Off-Site Secure Storage and Equipment Location

The Office of State Finance Information Services Division provides and supports a secure off-site storage facility in its Data Center for other agencies to store their off-site backup tapes, documentation and other items required for disaster recovery. This facility is secured with card-key access and is monitored by security cameras 24/7.

Additionally, the Office of State Finance Information Services Division supports a data center infrastructure that provides services for housing data processing equipment for other state agencies. These services may be utilized for the purpose of housing equipment for off-site backup and disaster recovery or for housing primary data processing equipment which processes agency computer applications. The Data Center is secured and monitored, has raised floor, redundant air conditioning, UPS electrical power, backup generator and network connections. OSF ISD guarantees 99 percent uptime, 24/7, for the infrastructure under normal operations.
