Firewall/Switch Management
The OSF Enterprise Networking Team offers many valuable services to Oklahoma state agencies. The OSF Enterprise Network stretches from Oklahoma City to Tulsa, providing internet connectivity at speeds ranging from dialup to 1Gbps. For those agencies without onsite IT staff members and for those agencies who simply want the assurance that there’s someone close by to offer assistance when needed, we provide full and partial switch management services. Our team has also addressed the necessity to provide for a secure networking environment through firewall management service.
In 2003 the Office of State Finance implemented a centralized Help Desk for PeopleSoft application support. In order to provide better customer service and to provide a means for tracking all problems and requests for services, we've expanded the role of our Help Desk to be our central contact point for all customer service and support.
Some agencies are already contacting our Help Desk for PC, server, network, firewall and email support services. We're now requesting that all agencies we provide these services to contact our Help Desk to report problems, request new services, or changes to their existing services rather than utilizing the Network Service Request form.
