The Office of State Finance (OSF) Information Services Division (ISD) is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft programmer/analyst. This is a full time position in state government and will be eligible for a generous total rewards package. The primary purpose of this position is to perform PeopleSoft application systems analysis and programming. This includes formulating and defining system scope and objectives; preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written or modified to meet the user’s business needs. Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining application programs. Completing multiple phases on projects while working under deadlines. Consulting with management on complex application projects, software, work methods or procedures.
The principal activities include the following:
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or a related field, or 24 hours of computer science or management information systems course work at an accredited college or university or a comparable vocational or technical education course resulting in certification in computer programming and 4 years of experience in applications programming and analysis. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting 2 years of experience in applications programming and analysis for 24 hours only of the required education.
