The Office of State Finance Information Services Division is seeking an experienced facilities manager. This is a full time position in State Government and will be eligible for a generous total rewards package. The purpose of this position is to plan, organize and direct work involved in monitoring and maintaining building systems including electromechanical systems, HVAC systems, security and alarm systems, and other building systems and equipment in a large data center facility. This position requires an individual with extensive knowledge of monitoring, service and repair of machinery and equipment. Individual must have good working knowledge of building structures and ancillary equipment. Individual will establish direction and standards while maintaining a high level of user trust, satisfaction and confidence.
The principal activities include the following:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or related discipline; and at least five years professional-level experience in the operation of a commercial or institutional facility. Experience should include a well-rounded background and vast knowledge of electromechanical systems, HVAC systems, security and alarm systems, and other building systems, machinery and equipment. A complete understanding and knowledge of the servicing and repair of machinery and equipment and good working knowledge of building structures and ancillary equipment. An equivalent combination of education and experience substituting 1 year of experience in facilities management or closely related field for each required year of education, except no substitution will be permitted for at least 2 years of engineering course work.
