Transaction Processing Unit


The Transaction Processing Unit is responsible for processing claims for the settlement of State expenses, including vendor payments, travel reimbursement and employee payroll, and ensuring that all material legal requirements concerning the expenditure of monies have been followed. (Statute References includes: General - 62 § 34.1, 62 § 41.21, Purchasing - 74 § 85.1 et seq., Payroll - 74 § 250.6, Travel - 74 § 500.1 et seq.)

The unit also provides valuable guidance to State agency personnel and vendors in the procedures to encumber funds and process payments.
