The Office of State Finance Information Services Division is seeking a PeopleSoft Administrator - Budgeting. This is a full time position in STATE GOVERNMENT and will be eligible for a generous total rewards package. POSITION PURPOSE


The purpose of this position is to provide functional support for the PeopleSoft EPM Budget Module and its integration with other modules (Human Resources and Financials) as necessary. This position requires an individual knowledgeable in quality practices; documentation standards; integration and user testing techniques and tools; process improvement methodology; project management methodology; metrics and measurements and business continuity as related to budgeting, financial management, processing and maintenance.


 PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

 


Work in tandem with the Budget, Financial and Payroll Teams to coordinate the entire Budget Management System.

Ensure accurate and timely execution of tasks necessary to meet the budgeting deadlines throughout the year and also ensure the system is functioning properly for the end users.

Interact with all the state agencies for defining and installing the budgeting policies and procedures.

Develop and make presentations tailored to the varied audiences on processing requirements and adherence to state statutory requirements and conduct formal and informal training.
Receive, resolve and distribute multiple communications to the user community utilizing the change management listserv and web site mediums
Assist with developing and maintaining training manuals, documentation, schedules and distribute to the user groups 
Assist Security function by maintaining training and end user information of the users
Direct development and distribution of functional process improvements, corrections and changes to provide assistance to users in system utilization and functionality 


PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Business, Computer Sciences or related field plus least three years experience in financial management, budgeting or information technology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a strong background in Budgeting and Financial Management.
Preference may be given to knowledge and utilization of the PeopleSoft (or other ERP system) Financial or Budgeting modules.
