Special Notice: 

Effective July 1, 2009, all nonresident licensees seeking a South Dakota broker, broker associate or salesperson license will be required to take the South Dakota specific portion of the AMP exam. The required exam is available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Testing information and scheduling is available at www.goamp.com.

Also effective July 1st, any nonresident who wishes to renew a South Dakota license on active status will need to include, with the renewal, a certificate of licensure from the licensee's state of residence showing the licensee is on active status, in good standing and if any complaints are pending or if there has been disciplinary action. South Dakota will accept certificates of licensure generated electronically by the licensee, provided the certificates show active status, in good standing plus any disciplinary action or pending complaints.
