Public Assistance
The process of providing public assistance funding after a disaster is a partnership between the federal, state and local governments. Public Assistance (PA) programs are designed to support state and local authorities and certain nonprofit organizations so they can fund the repair, restoration, reconstruction, or replacement of a public facility or infrastructure, which is damaged or destroyed by a disaster.
Human Services
The Human Services mission concentrates on the welfare of people and animals affected by disasters. There are several programs wihtin this Division. They include VOAD and Donations Management.
Mitigation
The mitigation program is available to local communities across the State of Oklahoma to assist them with identifying and implementing long-term hazard mitigation measures before, during and after a major disaster declaration.

Preparedness
This function area provides a forum for local and state agencies to address response preparedness issues and provide coordination with other State and Federal departments and agencies in developing capability to respond to state needs in a catastrophic disaster.
