The FY 2012 Application Period for PDM, FMA, RFC and SRL officially opened, June 1, 2011 and will close on December 2, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. EST. However, any applications for this application period must be in my office no later than November 1, 2011, which will give me plenty of time to review the application and then send it back for corrections if needed.

The June 1, 2010 Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) Unified Guidance document is available for download. This version of the HMA Guidance will be used and will apply to the FY 2012 application cycle.  The HMA Guidance continues to be used for all five HMA programs, including the HMGP for disasters declared on or after June 1, 2010.  A copy of the HMA Guidance is also available on the HMA website at http://www.fema.gov/government/grant/hma/index.shtm.   

As it applies each year, HMA programs are subject to the availability of appropriation funding, as well as any directive or restriction made with respect to such funds.
