Winter Weather Event
A strong storm system moved into Oklahoma on Friday. Cold air pushed into the state resulting in widespread snow across northwest Oklahoma and the panhandle. Snow accumulations of 8-12 inches occurred in the above areas along with wind gusts to 50mph. Isolated power outages occurred in this area, but the main story was travel difficulties. A glaze of ice occurred in north-central Oklahoma before a change over to snow occurred.
