DECLARED DECEMBER 18, 2007 SUMMARY In the event of a declaration, the following information applies: STATE: Oklahoma NUMBER: FEMA-1735-DR INCIDENT: Severe Winter Storms INCIDENT PERIOD: December 8, 2007, and continuing DATE REQUESTED BY GOVERNOR: December 15, 2007 FEDERAL COORDINATING OFFICER: Philip E. Parr DESIGNATIONS AND TYPES OF ASSISTANCE: INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANCE (Assistance to individuals and households): None. PUBLIC ASSISTANCE (Assistance to State and local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities): Cleveland, Lincoln, Mayes, Oklahoma, Pottawatomie, Tulsa, and Wagoner Counties. HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM (Assistance to State and local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for actions taken to prevent or reduce long term risk to life and property from natural hazards): All counties in the State of Oklahoma are eligible to apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. OTHER: Additional designations may be made at a later date after further evaluation. |
