Clinton Veterans Center
The center is located on approximately 70 acres one mile south of the city of Clinton on Highway 183. It was originally constructed as a tuberculosis sanatorium. On April 1, 1972, it was transferred to the control of the War Veterans Commission for the care and treatment of Oklahoma veterans. The Center has a capacity for 148 nursing care beds and 8 domiciliary beds, with 50 beds devoted to the Special Needs Unit for Alzheimer patients. A complete medical and nursing staff is maintained to provide the highest quality of care. Rehabilitation therapy as well as recreation therapy is also provided. The center also has a recreation hall and auditorium with a seating capacity of 300. For admission information, the applicant should communicate directly with the Admissions Office: P.O. Box 1209
