DISTRICT COMPOSITION
The Commission District has a unique, diverse composition. It includes our State Capitol, leading health care and research facilities, historic neighborhoods, and a progressive commercial/retail section. The Commission is the centerpiece to the puzzle, which ensures an attractive, cohesive, functional community.

Commercial/Retail
The District has several new businesses located in attractive new facilities. The facilities add to the beautiful ambience of this growing community and lay the foundation for more, similar growth in the future.
Neighborhoods
There are 312 acres dedicated to the residential areas. The Neighborhoods in the District have worked to enhance their value over the last decade. The Commission has been critical in managing that effort and ensuring the area continues to improve.
