End of Contractor Pre-qualification
Construction and Properties no longer requires Pre-qualification of Contractors, unless specifically stated in the Bid Solicitation.  For more information see Bidder Registration.

Bidder Registration
Contractors are encouraged to register with the Construction and Properties Division using DCS/CAP A150 Bidder Registration Form for each individual project for which the Contractor wishes to submit a bid.  Contact information collected from the Bidder Registration Form is recorded in a Plan Holders List and is used to notify registered bidders of any addenda issued.

Registration forms may be obtained from the Construction and Properties Division office in the Will Rogers Building, 2401 N. Lincoln, Suite 106, Oklahoma City, OK 73105, or from the forms link on our web site.

Bid documents will be available at a rate set to cover the cost of printing. The bidder is not required to purchase the bid documents from Construction and Properties. The documents are available for inspection where stated in the solicitation, and may also be reviewed and purchased from several bid news services. In the near future, Construction and Properties intends to implement an electronic plan distribution system, providing bidders a number of alternatives for obtaining bid documents.

Construction Manager List - Request by E-mail
SB558 was signed into law by Governor Henry on June 6, 2006.  Effective July 1,
2006, political subdivisions and school districts are required to select Construction Managers from the list maintained by the Construction and Properties Division of the Department of Central Services. The firms registered with Construction and Properties have demonstrated basic qualifications to provide construction management services. However, the capabilities of the various firms will vary, and the selection process (solicitation, screening and interviews) should match an appropriate firm with the specific scope of work.

The following section is cited:

SECTION 1.     AMENDATORY     Section 1, Chapter 414, O.S.L. 2002 (61 O.S. Supp. 2005, Section 220), is amended to read as follows:

Section 220, B.  A political subdivision or school district shall select a construction manager based on the professional qualifications and technical experience of the construction manager.  Selection criteria shall include the experience of the candidate, past performance, and certification of the company or individuals within the company of their knowledge of recognized standards of construction, construction management and project management.  Recognition of the company Only firms recognized as a qualified construction manager managers by the Construction and Properties Division of the Department of Central Services pursuant to Section 62 of Title 61 of the Oklahoma Statutes this title, may be considered in evaluating the qualifications of a prospective for selection as a construction manager by a political subdivision or school district.
