Announcement (10/30/2007):

We are pleased to announce the Oklahoma Department of Central Services, Auditing Unit has just received their first audit (External Peer Review) of their system of quality control required by the GAGAS (Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards).  This audit is required by the professional auditing standards adhered to by the Auditing Unit.  The audit was conducted by an independent accounting firm of Crawford & Associates, P.C..  The opinion given by the independent accounting firm states, in part:

… the system of quality control for the performance auditing practice of State of Oklahoma Department of Central Services Auditing Unit (the Unit) in effect for the year ended June 30, 2007, has been designed to meet the requirements of the quality control standards for a performance auditing practice established by the AICPA and complied with during the year then ended to provide the Unit with reasonable assurance of conforming with professional standards.
