General Information
Information Services (ISD) is responsible for managing and providing mission critical technology solutions to the program units of the Department of Central Services.
ISD utilizes emerging technologies while leveraging its investment in existing resources to fully meet the current and to anticipate future needs of the agency. In order to align the Information Services mission to the Agency's mission, we dedicate resources to knowing our customers and maintain high-level communication about each program's mission.
ISD sets realistic business objectives, defines a sound architecture and attempts to gain full agreement on each project plan we undertake. We then constantly measure our performance by closely monitoring network down-time, customer incident reports and systems usage indicators.
In addition to providing technical consulting and technical strategic direction, ISD is responsible for network resources, workstations and business application software.
